SUMMARY FOR THE DRAFT DECREE ON SELECTING INVESTOR FOR ELECTRICITY PROJECTS

Based on the current legal regulations, there is a lack of clear provisions regarding the bidding process for selecting investors in electricity projects. Consequently, the relevant authorities have been applying general provisions outlined in the Law on Investment and Law on Procurement to determine the investors. This Decree aims to provide specific methods and procedures, guiding the fair and transparent selection of investors. By doing so, it creates favorable conditions for the development of power projects and contributes to the sustainable development of the country.
