Plan No. 141/KH-BCDTKNQ18 of the Central Steering Committee regarding the Guidelines for Restructuring and Streamlining the Government Organizational Structure

The main points are:

(i) Establish the objectives, requirements, and principles to unify the plan for restructuring and streamlining the Government's organizational structure;
(ii) The formulation of the plan includes: setting out several general tasks; providing guidelines for restructuring at various levels of party committees, party organizations, ministries, ministerial-level agencies,...and internal organizations of these ministries and agencies;
(iii) Conducting a preliminary impact assessment when applying the proposed plan; setting a timeline and plan for implementation and final evaluation; assigning responsibilities and organizing the implementation of the proposed scheme.

This plan is designed to streamline and enhance the effectiveness of the Government's operations, fully utilizing its positions, roles, functions, tasks, and powers, in order to build a democratic, professional, modern, clean, strong, transparent, and accountable Government.
