Official letter No. 78/EVN-KD+TCKT issued by EVN regarding the announcement of the rooftop solar electricity purchase price for 2025

The main points are as follows:

(i) For rooftop solar systems that began operation and had their meter readings confirmed during the period from June 1, 2017, to June 30, 2019, the electricity purchase price (excluding VAT) for 2025 will be 2,275 VND/kWh (equivalent to 9.35 UScents/kWh);
(ii) For rooftop solar systems that began operation and had their meter readings confirmed during the period from July 1, 2019, to December 31, 2020, the electricity purchase price (excluding VAT) for 2025 will be 2,039 VND/kWh (equivalent to 8.38 UScents/kWh).

This Official letter is not only significant from a technical and financial perspective but also reflects EVN’s strategic orientation in developing renewable energy, contributing to the sustainable development goals and carbon emission reduction efforts of Vietnam.
