Decision Number 1271/QD-TTg issued by the Prime Minister regarding approval of the restructuring plan for Vietnam Electricity (EVN) until the end of 2025

The main contents are:

(i) Objective: Develop EVN into a strong, sustainable economic group, ensuring energy security, with annual revenue growth of 7-10% and contributing over 23,000 billion VND to the state budget by 2025.

(ii) Solutions:
Governance Reform: Innovate management practices, adopt international standards, optimize capital, and strengthen financial management.
Streamline Operations: Simplify the organizational structure, enhance workforce quality, and accelerate digital transformation.
Promote Clean Energy: Encourage clean energy development, reduce emissions, and aim for net-zero emissions by 2050.

(iii) Restructuring EVN: Retain controlling shares in subsidiaries, improve organizational structure, and transform into a digital enterprise by 2025.
