COLLECTING DATA FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE IMPLEMENTATION PLAN OF THE PDP8

On June 17, 2023, the Energy Institute issued the Official Letter No. 0980/VNL-P8 on collecting data for development of the Implementation Plan of the PDP8.

In this Official Letter, Energy Institute has requested the People’s Commitees to provide input data for them to develop the PDP8 Implementation Plan at the request of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT). Required information includes:

• Statistics on the list of power source projects being implemented and registered for deployment in the province according to each type of power source;
• Statistics on current status of rooftop solar power by district/town (total number of projects, total capacity in MWp and MW);
• File kmz summarizing the coordinates of power source projects being implemented and registered for deployment in the province;
• List of projects with inefficient power sources, delayed implementation, ...and proposal to withdraw or stop implementation;
• Difficulties, obstacles and proposals (if any) for effective implementation of PDP8.
