DEPUTY MINISTER NGUYEN SINH NHAT TAN'S CONCLUSION AT THE MEETING ON THE NATIONAL POWER DEVELOPMENT PLAN VIII'S PROGRESS AND FINALIZATION

1. Carefully study and adhere to the tasks assigned in Decision No. 500/QD-TTg and Announcement No. 379/TB-VPCP to ensure the development of a high-quality and feasible Plan.

2. Request the development of a list of electricity source projects for each year and allocate funding from public and non-public sources in accordance with the provisions of the Planning Law.

3. Conduct comprehensive legal research on information pertaining to ongoing and approved electricity source projects to ensure compliance with regulations and avoid legal issues.

4. Provide a detailed report on challenges and propose solutions, while also seeking input from the Prime Minister to enhance the submission.

5. Urgently instruct the Energy Institute to complete the Plan by October 10, 2023, ensuring its feasibility during implementation.

6. In coordination with the Legal Affairs Department, the Electricity and Renewable Energy Agency shall conduct a review of legal regulations and streamline legal procedures in preparation for submission to the Prime Minister for approval of the Implementation Plan for PDP VIII.
